This is for 10 naturally shed Turkey tail flats. These are from an Osceola Turkey, which can only be found on the Florida Peninsula. The Osceola Turkey is darker and smaller than the eastern Turkey and these small feathers have much more iridescent reds and greens than the bronzes you find on an eastern turkey. We found and collected these on our weekly walks in the woods and therefore each feather is unique in size, shape and coloring. These would be great for arts and crafts, decorating or even jewelry and fly tying.
They vary in size, shape and coloring but will all be between 4-5" long.

Lay-away: Podunk Hollow offers Layaway services:
Any item that totals $125.00 or more may be purchased through a layaway plan. To place an item in lay-away, please contact me through the contact the seller button on the item's listing. I will then explain how to start the procedure. Layaway is not available for sale or discounted items.
You may keep the item in lay-away up to ninety (90) days, with payments being made every two weeks or more often if you wish..
A non-refundable down payment of 20% is made when the item is placed in layaway.
The balance is invoiced through PayPal with the amount due and the date it is due. Once the item is paid in full (including postage), the item will be shipped. If more than one item is involved in the layaway, no items may be deleted from the Lay-Away. Additional items may not be added to an established Lay-Away.
All payments for layaway are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Stay in touch, please. I get that problems arise and I'm willing to consider amending the layaway terms, if possible. However, after two weeks of no customer contact and a missed payment, the layaway will be cancelled.
Your item will be shipped within 1-3 days of purchase/payment. Custom arrow orders will be on a first come first serve basis, based on date of deposit payment. Custom orders should never take more than 2-3 weeks unless otherwise specified.
All items will be shipped USPS and tracking numbers will be provided if applicable.
Customer is responsible for providing us with a valid address, we cannot refund money for an item that was shipped to the wrong address if that address was provided to us.
Once your package is shipped I cannot be held responsible for any damage or losses on the part of the USPS. If an item has been insured the proper paperwork will be filed with the USPS and a refund will be made once the USPS pays the insurance claim.

If you decide that you want to cancel a transaction before your item has been mailed please contact me and your payment will be promptly refunded.
I do accept returns if you are unhappy with your purchase or the item was grossly misrepresented on our part. Please contact me within 3 days to discuss the problem as I am more than happy to work with my customers to make sure you get exactly what you want.
All of our bows are vintage, I describe them to the best of my ability and take care to report any damage or stress that may show on the bow but ultimately the buyer is responsible for the bow and knows that these vintage bows are sold as is
For a refund, all items must be returned to me in the same state and fashion you received them in, once a tracking number is provided or I have received the item a refund will be issued.

It is recommended that you use a bow stringer when stringing your bow.
Unstring your bow when not in use.
Never 'dry fire' your bow. This means shoot without an arrow. A ‘dry fire’ can severely damage your bow.
Store your bow in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat and moisture.
Never use bowstrings of a length other than specified correct for that bow.
Shoot only arrows specified suitable for your bow.
Please take into consideration that all of our bows are vintage, I describe them to the best of my ability and take care to report any damage or stress that may show on the bow but ultimately the buyer is responsible for the bow and knows that these vintage bows are sold as is.
Draw length and draw weight are the two most important things to know when ordering archery equipment.
Draw length corresponds to the arm length of the person drawing
the bow. Industry standard is 28".
A simple method of getting this number is by measuring arm span and dividing that number by 2.5.
Draw weight corresponds to how heavy the bow pulls.
The bow should not be too heavy to draw back comfortably, or too light that it doesn't offer a challenge. If you are a beginner this will be more difficult to figure out but a trip to a local archery shop or sporting goods store may help. Try different bows and talk to an expert.
