This is a set of 6 poplar shaft arrows, inspired (not replicated) from "the hobbit". They have hand dyed and hand cut amber colored feather fletchings. The fletchings are glued in place then tied with a natural string with gold filaments woven into it to give it that little extra something. The shafts were left their natural color and coated with 3 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane, to give them a true medieval look. Each shaft has a unique grain pattern along with a beautiful gold tone. Finally they were topped off with a gold nock and a field point so they will be ready to shoot when they arrive on you're doorstep. Great for making a statement at the range or a renaissance faire.
If you are unsure of what spine weight will be best with the bow you shoot please contact us and we will give our recommendations.
These arrows will be made to order, please indicate draw length and spine weight on drop down menus. Allow for 1-2 weeks for delivery.
Please keep in mind that these arrows have been lovingly hand crafted, hand crested and finished by me to a finished product and therefore a few imperfections may be visible. I hand straighten all shafts myself multiple times throughout the process but you may have to straighten them as you shoot, please contact me or do research about hand straightening wood arrows.

It is recommended that you use a bow stringer when stringing your bow.
Unstring your bow when not in use.
Never 'dry fire' your bow. This means shoot without an arrow. A ‘dry fire’ can severely damage your bow.
Store your bow in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat and moisture.
Never use bowstrings of a length other than specified correct for that bow.
Shoot only arrows specified suitable for your bow.
Please take into consideration that all of our bows are vintage, I describe them to the best of my ability and take care to report any damage or stress that may show on the bow but ultimately the buyer is responsible for the bow and knows that these vintage bows are sold as is.
Draw length and draw weight are the two most important things to know when ordering archery equipment.
Draw length corresponds to the arm length of the person drawing
the bow. Industry standard is 28".
A simple method of getting this number is by measuring arm span and dividing that number by 2.5.
Draw weight corresponds to how heavy the bow pulls.
The bow should not be too heavy to draw back comfortably, or too light that it doesn't offer a challenge. If you are a beginner this will be more difficult to figure out but a trip to a local archery shop or sporting goods store may help. Try different bows and talk to an expert.
If you have any more questions about these things please feel free to contact us.
All of the arrows in our shop are made to order, therefore any of them can be customized to suit you.
We can do a variety of colors, cresting patterns, feathers, nocks and tips.
Once a design is created you will need to pay a deposit of 20% of the total, this payment is non-refundable.

Gorgeous arrows, and the sellers helped me determine what size I would need to order for my boyfriend for Christmas. He ended up needing a heavier weight than listed in the options. They custom made them for him and delivered in time for Christmas. He is one happy boy and I'm a hero! Thank you!!

Exceptionally well-made, custom works of art using real feathers. Really can’t go wrong with these. The attention to detail and effort put into these arrows really shows. They fly well and look fantastic with a medieval longbow.

These arrows are wonderful, well-made, and have already won me many admiring compliments at the archery range :) I was nervous about purchasing arrows I’d never shot as I was new to archery and still trying to figure out what sorts of arrows fit best with my bow. I had been shooting borrowed arrows, and figured I’d realized length and spine measurements that would be close - yet the arrows I received fly more perfectly and smoothly than I could have hoped! I was so inspired by the level of craftsmanship that I decided to make my own quiver, even though I Have never worked with leather before... and I want to learn about arrow-making next! Thank you for the beautiful and inspiring arrows!

The wood shaft and the real feathers on the fletching make these arrows a real delight to shoot. They hit the target with a satisfying "thwack"! The arrows are also really pretty to look at.
